A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to join the Leadership Team within Toto Group as Head of Care.

Salary - £60,000 to 70,000
Location - Lancashire

Toto is a newly formed family-founded social enterprise with a goal to transform residential children’s care. Who Are We Looking For?

We are looking for somebody passionate about outcomes for children, committed to uplifting and developing our workforce and knowledgeable in the legislative framework in which we operate.

Initially we will require you to provide support in many key aspects of the organisation and it’s growth and development. The first 6-12 months of this role will entail registering new homes, homes management and day to day operational support across the region.

You will work closely with our Managing Director in all aspects of your role developing company processes and procedures, embedding new systems and most importantly ensuring we deliver excellent care for our children.

Your strategic development and support of the workforce will be a critical part of your role. In conjunction with our People Services Manager you will ensure that we employ and retain the best and brightest people to care for our children and manage our homes.

You will manage a budget and work closely with the Managing Director to ensure that homes have all the resources they need for our children and the people that care for them.

You will ensure that the homes experience high level quality assurance processes and comply with regulations at all times. Where action is required you will implement timely and robust plans to effect positive change.

You will be responsible for developing further our social enterprise partnerships to ensure that our success benefits the communities in which we live also.

Skills & Experience Required
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing children’s homes with experience caring for children with physical, emotional and learning needs
  • 2 years experience supporting homes managers in an Operational/Regional/Head of Care capacity
  • LEVEL 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
  • In depth knowledge of the CHR 2015, Guide to the Children’s Homes Regulations & The Social Care Common Inspection Framework
  • Strong IT, Literacy and Numeracy skills
